Many of you do know that I have asthma. It can be triggered by different allergens: smoke, dust, perfume/cologne, bad odor, too hot climate, too cold climate, oily foods, too much laughing (yes, I always say that whoever said laughter is the best medicine has never had asthma), chicken, smell of seafood, among others.
It wasn’t until recently that I FULLY realized how chicken is hurting me more than the others. When I had white spots under my chin, I realized I have had too much chicken already. When I had it before (about 30 years ago), no amount of topical treatment can get it out. I stopped eating chicken for a year and it vanished. I had no asthma attacks then because I was physically active which compensates for my lack of routine exercise. Now, though, that I don’t have enough physical movements, asthma is bound to attack anytime I encounter any of my allergens.
